The audio for this song dropped yesterday and I decided to hold off on the post because I knew the music video was coming out today. The song is classic Cuey, not his best, but still a good song. The music video is just decent too. A bunch of scenes with him walking around NYC.

I usually don't post music videos but OnCue killed this one (and so did director, Adam Ross). It is a combination of stop motion and regular clips of OnCue rapping. Cool clip, definitely watch it.

Some AWESOME new OnCue. Every time I hear a new song from this kid it makes me more and more impressed. I cannot stop listening to this one. He talks about how he finally "feels tall, taller than you" and comes through (as always) with unbelievably smooth flows and great lyrics even saying, "I really respect women, but there is one thing I don't, your opinion" addressing a subject of controversy in the hip hop community (respect towards women). But anyways, this is an incredibly dope track that you have to give a listen.


Bottom Line: An awesome new OnCue song, a must download for any fans of rappers with Mac Miller type flows.

It Usually Goes- OnCue

OnCue, another rapper you may have not heard of, is from Connecticut and has been releasing hits for quite some time. Not only does this song have some good points made through it's lyrics, (which he uses to  vent about bad, young rappers that rhyme about crazy parties in college which are polluting the game today) it has a nice pleasing hook as well. I tend to agree with him that there is way to many rappers that just rap about stupid college parties and their friends. It makes the actual good rappers (such as OnCue) harder to get noticed. But my favorite part of the song isn't the hook, or any verse, it is a line that comes at the end of the song. It sums the song up and basically puts everything that he said in to one sentence: "Just because you have a microphone and a computer doesn't mean you are a f**king rapper.". On that note, here is the song...
